16x20 - Acrylic, Paper, Found Object, Pencil - 2019
Based on the popular ceramics piece by William M. Grueby found in the Astor Place station of the NYC IRL, this piece is meant to remind the viewer that peace and solace can always be found in one's own imagination. Even when your physical person is bound by seemingly insurmountable limitations, your imagination can be used as a door through which you can travel to any other space.
